Return and Refund Policy

At Modakart, customer satisfaction is our priority. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help. Please read our Return and Refund Policy carefully before initiating a return request.

1. Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, the item must:

  • Be unused, unworn, and in its original condition.

  • Be returned with all original packaging, tags, manuals, accessories, and invoices.

  • Not show signs of damage caused by misuse, negligence, or improper handling.

  • Meet the return conditions specified for the product category.

Modakart reserves the right to reject return requests that do not meet these eligibility requirements.

2. Return Timeframe

Customers may request a return within 7 days of receiving the product.

Return requests submitted after the eligible return period may not be accepted.

To initiate a return, customers must contact our support team and provide:

  • Order Number

  • Product Details

  • Reason for Return

  • Supporting photographs (if applicable)

3. Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved:

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method.

  • For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds may be issued via bank transfer, UPI, or another approved method.

  • Customers may be required to provide bank account or UPI details for refund processing.

4. Refund Timing

After approval:

  • Refunds to online payment methods are generally processed within 5–10 business days.

  • Bank processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution.

If you do not receive your refund within the expected timeframe, please contact our support team.

5. Exchange Policy

We offer exchanges for eligible products in the following situations:

  • Wrong product received

  • Damaged product received

  • Defective product received

  • Size replacement (where applicable)

Exchange requests must be submitted within 7 days of delivery.

All exchange requests are subject to stock availability.

If a replacement item is unavailable, a refund may be offered instead.

6. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Products

If you receive a damaged, defective, missing, or incorrect item:

  1. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

  2. Provide your order number.

  3. Share clear photographs or videos showing the issue.

After verification, we will arrange one of the following:

  • Product replacement

  • Product exchange

  • Full refund

  • Store credit (where applicable)

Failure to report issues within the specified timeframe may affect eligibility for replacement or refund.

7. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are generally not eligible for return or refund unless received damaged or defective:

  • Personal care products

  • Beauty and grooming products

  • Innerwear and intimate apparel

  • Gift cards

  • Digital products and downloadable items

  • Customized or personalized products

  • Clearance and final-sale items

  • Products marked as non-returnable on the product page

Certain categories may have additional return restrictions based on hygiene, safety, or supplier policies.

8. Return Shipping Costs

If the Return is Due To:

  • Damaged product

  • Defective product

  • Incorrect item shipped by us

Modakart will bear the return shipping costs.

If the Return is Due To:

  • Customer preference

  • Ordered by mistake

  • No longer needed

  • Change of mind

The customer may be responsible for return shipping charges.

Any applicable shipping deductions will be communicated before processing the refund.

9. Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled before shipment.

Once an order has been shipped, cancellation may not be possible and the customer may need to follow the return process after delivery.

Refunds for cancelled orders will be processed according to the payment method used.

10. Return Inspection

All returned products undergo quality inspection.

Refunds, exchanges, or replacements will only be approved after verification that the returned item meets our return requirements.

Products returned in damaged, used, altered, or incomplete condition may not qualify for a refund.
